Video - These racers are having too much fun!

MMMR set up a 25 ft. display circuit at the 33rd Maryland Slot Car Show and Swap Meet on March 10 at the Hilton Inn in Whitemarsh, MD. Many attendees stopped by to drive digitally, often for the first time in their slot car life. There were many smiles and comments as to how much fun digital slots can be. During the four- hour show we held five five minute races with a $15 gift certificate from Great Traditions, who was at the show, to the winners. Each race had five to six racers and a ghost car and the action was wild and the racing close.  A couple of the winners went and purchased digital cars and returned to test them. Of course, with magnets, their cars beat up everybody else on the track to their immense enjoyment. Much thanks to Rich at Great Traditions for providing the gift certificates and Elliot Dalberg for a well-managed show. Plans are already being laid to attend the next show with a longer track.
